Accelerate your sailing or learn to sail for the first time with private lessons taught by Sail Sand Point’s US Sailing certified Level 1 Instructors!
Private lessons for 2026 can be scheduled here!
We offer personalized instruction in a more intimate environment than a class and at the convenience of your own schedule. Private lessons are great for adults interested in learning how to sail, wanting to improve their skills or learn how to sail a new boat, in need of a refresher, or seeking some advanced instruction such as racing or performance tips.
Private lessons are available for beginning, intermediate, or advanced students; your instructor will focus on what you want to practice and learn.
Private lessons will be available to book in the summer and early fall, but please allow our staff 1 week to confirm your selected date/time and identify an instructor that best suits your goals.

*Lessons include use of one boat, so additional sailors added to a private lesson must be accommodated on a single boat (Hobie Wave, RS Quest, etc.)
