WOWSA – SSP 9/26

WOWSA -SSP

We love to create more opportunities to get Women on the Water Sailing, this time at Sail Sandpoint! So we’ve created an event for Sunday, September 26 called WOWSA-SSP for 12 women sailors to join us on Hobie Waves (14′ catamarans) and Laser SB3s (20 ft LOA). As the season comes to an end, we are trying out this one-day event to introduce big boat sailors to small(er) boat sailing. We hope to learn from this event to bring on more programming in 2022.

Sail Sandpoint (SSP) is a community boating center whose mission is to bring the joy and life-enhancing benefits of sailing and small boats to people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds.
Each participant will be able to experience sailing on Lake Washington on both types of boats, socialize with other women sailors, learn from experienced sailors and volunteers, and witness the amazing resources and accessibility of sailing at Sail Sandpoint and the Magnuson Park sport complex area. Join us for a full day of fun!
