Come enjoy an evening of food and conversation at SSP!
Our July potluck and speaker night will feature a talk from Connie Sullivan. Connie is currently the Science and Education Coordinator at Puget Soundkeeper. Puget Soundkeeper was established in 1984, with the primary mission of protecting and preserving the waters of Puget Sound. Over the past 30 years, the organization has completed over 1600 patrols of Puget Sound waterways, engaged over 18,000 volunteers in cleanups, outreach events and advocacy, and removed more than 145,000 pounds of marine debris from Puget Sound waterways.
Connie will be discussing the positive effects of STEM programming, how she got on her career path, what types of opportunities are out there, as well as about her experience working with Puget Soundkeeper.
