Good luck, Caroline!

It is with mixed emotions that we announce Caroline Robertson’s departure from Sail Sand Point. She and her fiancé have decided to return to Caroline’s home state of Vermont to be closer to friends and family as they embark on the next stage of their life together. We will be sad to see her go, but are extremely excited for her new adventure!

Caroline has played an integral role in ensuring that Sail Sand Point has thrived as an organization during her tenure here and her efforts have not gone unnoticed. Thanks to Caroline’s diligence and behind-the-scenes efforts, SSP has established a terrific STEM curriculum, cultivated a robust Shipmates program, supported an active boat storage and volunteer community, made major steps toward organizational fundraising, provided exceptional sailing camps and classes via a streamlined registration system, and much more. Her positive attitude and exuberance have made her a joy to work with and she will be sorely missed.

Her shoes will be hard to fill, but she has left Sail Sand Point in a great position for the 2016 season and we hope she will be back to visit SSP soon! Caroline’s last day at SSP will be March 1st, so make sure to call or swing by the office to say goodbye!
