Speaker Series 9/10: Helena Scutt and the Olympic Campaign Trail!

We are excited to hear from future Olympian and SSP/SPYS alumn, Helena Scutt, about her exciting Olympic campaign trail! Join us on Thursday, September 10th at 6:30 pm for the next Speaker Series and community potluck.

Also, check out this amazing video profiling Helena and her US Sailing Team Sperry teammate, Paris Henken, showing how their commitment to the sport of sailing and to each other makes them a formidable sailing team!

Fall Open Boating

Welcome to fall in Seattle! Our fall Open Boating hours arrived right along with the rain and wind. Starting tomorrow, September 1, our fall hours will go into effect:

September 1 – September 30
Mon, Wed, Fri: 1:30 pm – 7:30 pm or sunset
Sat and Sun: 11:00 am – 7:30 pm or sunset

October 1 – October 30
Wed and Fri: 1:30 pm – 6:30 pm or sunset
Sat and Sun: 12:00 pm – 6:30 pm or sunset

We are also offering a special fall deal on the Adult Unlimited Season Pass! If you haven’t gotten your season pass yet, the Adult Unlimited Season Pass will be just $85 for the rest of the season! The season pass gives you unlimited access to rent all of our sailboats and paddle craft during through the Open Boating program. Come sail into fall with us!

*Open Boating will be closed September 7 for Labor Day and September 26-27 for the annual Octoberfest Youth Regatta.


Sail Sand Point is a non-profit community boating center in Seattle's Magnuson Park. We believe in creating a vibrant sailing community where all ages, skill levels and backgrounds can learn and enjoy sailing.
